Vote for Inna at the 2009 MTV EMAs!

How voting works for the MTV Europe Music Awards 2009 (“EMAs”)

"This year’s MTV Europe Music Awards gives the power to you, the viewers, to pick the winners of most of our awards. Votes can be cast either on the website, located at URL www.mtvema.com (the “Website”), the WAP site at m.mtvema.com (the “WAP Site”) or certain Habbo virtual world websites (check your local Habbo site to see if it running EMAs voting and if so what terms will apply). You can vote up to a maximum of one hundred (100) times per day on either the Website or the WAP Site. Entries exceeding this limit will not be accepted. Only votes cast by real people will be allowed! Any entries that we believe have been made via participation in a syndicate or via any form of machine assisted intervention enabling computer generated multiple entries, may be disqualified."

“The nominees for the Best European Act will be selected through a system that is designed to be as fair as possible. It will make sure that there are no unfair advantages for bigger countries over smaller countries with smaller populations. Each of the twenty two (22) acts will be given points based on how many votes they have received in each country, so the act with the lowest votes in a specific country will get one (1) point and the act with the highest votes in that country will get twenty two (22) points. This process will be repeated in each of the twenty two (22) regions. The act with the most amount of points when each country’s points are added together will be the winner of the Best European Act.”

Inna

This article was written by Lidiya Aleksieva.

Inna, a 23 year old Romanian singer is one of the few artists that can touch people with her lyrics which reflect so many people, allowing them to identify with them. Her voice sound AMAZING with her angelic voice which you can listen to- all day and night! Her music is dance/house based with a signature rhythmic beat which you can hear throughout her songs, and is well noticed in her song ‘Hot’ which was released on the 12 of August 2008. I actually first heard of Inna and her first single ‘Hot’ from Skype where many of my friends had the song advertised on their profiles with parts of the lyrics. I decided to check out what all the fuss was about on YouTube and fell in love with it straight away! Listening to it whenever I can- Inna became my favourite artist! :)

The years 2008-2009 were really big for Inna, releasing bigger and bigger hits one after another! The second single “Love” was a HUGE success, playing around many radios internationally. The song, like many others makes you want to get up and dance, while singing along the catchy lyrics that literary take you ‘...round and round’.

The proof of her huge achievement can also be found just by looking at the number of  times her videos and songs were viewed online, some reaching over 11, 000, 000 million views, which is a remarkable success considering the very short period of time she has been an official artist! Comments about Inna such as: “I love this song!!! the Best!!! ♥Inna Forever :P ♥♥Hungary♥” and “absolutely brilliant clubbing tune!” shows how much she is appreciated by her fans around the globe, and around the clubs too!!! J

Being originally from Bulgaria I know how much people love her there and how much they love listening to her music when it plays in the cafes, Clubs and in General! But, what surprised me much was how many people knew of her and her songs in Russia! This summer I was there, near the town Ufa (which I’m sure you know where it is because she played a concert there recently), where I spent my summer holidays. There, weather you watch music channels, go to night clubs or listen to radios- there are constantly people who ask to put her songs on ALL DAY LONG! J J -Which was really nice to hear, because I can share my joy with the people! xexe.

Of course I don’t think that any of this big success would have been achieved without ‘team Inna’, who constantly update their main web site www.inna.ro with news, photos, and videos; And her other social sites such as Twitter and Facebook in where fans of Inna can comment and share their views on the artist and on Inna’s photos, videos, etc...

Other hit songs of Inna which are also some of my personally favourites include: ‘Don’t let the music die’, ‘Déjà Vu’, ‘Amazing’ and her newest hit ‘July’ which is so summery and lovely!

As you may already know, Inna was nominated for Best Romanian Act at MTV Europe Music Awards.  I’m encouraging you to show appreciation towards this rising, beautiful star by VOTING FOR INNA! Competition’s tough, but I absolutely believe she deserves it!

I LOVE INNA and I LOVE her music! xxx
